At the final Championship show of 2013, Chayo is once again confirmed as TOP MALAMUTE BREEDER 2013 when at the LKA, 'Ace' - Chayo Pulling Power at Lireva owned by Avril Cawthera was awarded the DOG CC & BEST OF BREED and the BITCH CC was awarded to 'Oreo' - Chayo Cookie Monster For Wintadreama ShCM IR Jr CH owned by Neil Rivers and Sarah Towers making her Chayo's 9th UK CHAMPION. Crystal - Am/HR Ch. Chayo Pure Crystal was awarded the RES BITCH CC and 'Abby' - Chayo Easy On The Eye was awarded BEST PUPPY BITCH.

November 2013

The month started perfectly at National Working & Pastoral Breeds of Scotland where, under judge Roberta Wright, Crystal - Am/Cro Ch. Chayo Pure Crystal won BEST BITCH and BEST OF BREED then went on to get GROUP 4. 'Abby' - Chayo Easy On The Eye was awarded RESERVE BEST BITCH and BEST PUPPY IN BREED, then went on to gain PUPPY GROUP 2. 'Conan' - Chayo Worth The Wait, owned by K Buchanan was awarded BEST DOG.

October 2013

At Midland Counties championship show under judge Jeff Luscott, 'Bart' - CH. Chayo My Prerogative takes BEST OF BREED and then goes on to gain GROUP 4 and the RESERVE BITCH CC goes to Crystal - Am/Cro Ch. Chayo Pure Crystal. Other Chayo wins were: Res in Post Graduate Dog was 'Ted' - Chayo Ice Cold Apparition owned by Andrea and Mark Blackburn, 2nd in Limit Dog was 'Ace' - Chayo Pulling Power at Lireva owned by Avril Cawthera, 'Abby' - Chayo Easy On The Eye was awarded BEST PUPPY BITCH, 'Oreo' - Chayo Cookie Monster For Wintadreama ShCM IR Jr CH owned by Neil Rivers and Sarah Towers came 1st in Limit Bitch and 'Jessica' - Chayo Rumour Has It for Cristakell, owned by Chris John was 3rd in the same class.

What an incredible experience! I took a trip over to Wisconsin in the US where 'Enzo' - Ch. Chayo All Eyes On Me did me proud by winning RESERVE WINNERS DOG at the Regional Specialty under judge Dr Carmen Battaglia and then came 3rd in his class at the National Specialty under judge Cindy Benson. Thank you to both judges who thought so highly of Enzo! 'James' - Chayo Bit Special also took the trip to the US and was placed 3rd in the 9-12 month dog class. We had such a fun time seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

At the South Wales Kennel Association championship show, 'Ace' - Chayo Pulling Power at Lireva owned by Avril Cawthera was awarded BEST DOG and BEST OF BREED, Crystal - Am/Cro Ch. Chayo Pure Crystal was awarded BEST BITCH and 'Abby' - Chayo Easy On The Eye was awarded RESERVE BEST BITCH, BEST PUPPY IN BREED and then went on to win PUPPY GROUP 4.

At Belfast championship show BEST BITCH and BEST OF BREED was awarded to Crystal - Am/Cro Ch. Chayo Pure Crystal, BEST DOG was awarded to 'Ace' - Chayo Pulling Power at Lireva owned by Avril Cawthera and RESERVE BEST BITCH was awarded to Chayo All A Flicka Ir Jr CH. owned my Mr P Hanna.

What a fantastic day at Darlington Championship Show under breed specialist Sue Smith! DOG CC & BEST OF BREED was 'Enzo' - Ch. Chayo All Eyes On Me gaining his 19th CC. The BITCH CC was Crystal - Am/Cro Ch. Chayo Pure Crystal who gained her 2nd CC and BEST PUPPY IN BREED was 'Abby' - Chayo Easy On The Eye who then went on to win PUPPY WORKING GROUP 1 under judge Mr Ronny Irving. The RESERVE DOG CC was awarded to 'Ace' - Chayo Pulling Power at Lireva owned by Avril Cawthera and BEST PUPPY DOG was 'James' - Chayo Bit Special. At the Welsh Kennel Club championship show, 'Bart' - CH. Chayo My Prerogative takes BEST OF BREED under top international judge Mr Rony Doedijns and then was shortlisted in a strong group. 'James' - Chayo Bit Special takes BEST PUPPY IN BREED making him the Top UK Malamute Puppy. Thanks to Sam Moore for handling James so beautifully. Congratulations to Char John with the RBCC Chayo Rumour Has It For Cristakell. Chayo Pure Crystal) wins RESERVE BEST BITCH and BEST PUPPY IN BREED and then goes on to win WORKING PUPPY GROUP 1 in an incredibly strong line-up at just one week over 6 months! Her litter brother 'James' - Chayo Bit Special won the Puppy Dog class, so it was a fantastic day for the new babies at Chayo! To top it off, BEST DOG and BEST OF BREED was awarded to 'Ace' - Chayo Pulling Power at Lireva owned by Avril Cawthera who went on to be shortlisted in the group and BEST BITCH was 'Gypsy' - Chayo Blue Velvet. Other results were: 'Ted' - Chayo Ice Cold Apparition owned by Andrea and Mark Blackburn placing Reserve in Post Graduate Dog and  'Bart' - CH. Chayo My Prerogative placed 3rd in Open Dog. At his first show, Bootle, Crosby & S Liverpool CS open show, Bobby - Chayo Bedazzled won BEST PUPPY IN BREED and then PUPPY GROUP 1. We had a lovely day, thanks to judges John Purnell and Angie Allen.

At Crufts 2013, 'Frankee' - Chayo Fortune Comes To Wintalakes owned by Anne Nevinson placed 2nd in the Pets For Therapy Finals. Well done Frankee!
This year I had the privilege of judging Alaskan Malamutes at CRUFTS. I had a very enjoyable day and was pleased to offer my Best of Breed to DK CH Inupiat's Quuniqsuq Jason owned by Mrs T Chrillesen & Mrs A Rost. Jason did well in a very strong group and made the shortcut but unfortunately missed out on a place. My Best Opposite Sex was INT/RO/CY/MR/ME/AZ CH Icicle Creek's Superstar at Magician owned by Mr F Tozzi. Thank you to all the exhibitors for making it such an enjoyable day.
